Reinforced Stone Turret
Compared with a
Stone Turret, this automatic arrow defense has more health,
faster firing and stronger arrows. Each placement also costs gold.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”Turrets shoot at enemy players,
zombies and
the
Reaper. They ignore you, members of your group
and players with
Spawn protection.
A newly placed turret waits 3 seconds before looking for a target. Arrows aim at the target’s position when fired. Firing needs no ammunition or fuel.
All turret tiers share the same limit per player. Your turrets stay active after you die and still count toward the limit. Destruction frees a place, and leaving the server removes your turrets.
Comparison
Section titled “Comparison”| Measure | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Placement cost | |||
| Base destroy reward | |||
| Health | 60 | 120 | 180 |
| Arrows per second | 2 | 2.5 | 2.75 |
| Base player damage per arrow | 8 | 10 | 12 |
| Base zombie damage per arrow | 8 | 10 | 12 |
All tiers have the same detection range, so this upgrade does not let a turret spot enemies farther away.
Destroy rewards go to the living player who lands the final hit. Destroying your own turret gives no reward. A projectile final hit grants 50 % of the listed resources and experience.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”Choose this upgrade after Stone Turret at level 10 or above in the turret branch of the structure trees. It spends 1 structure point from your upgrade points and replaces Stone Turret in your hotbar. Turrets you already placed keep their existing tier.
- Place the turret behind allied walls to obstruct melee attackers while letting its arrows pass. Enemy walls stop the arrows without taking damage.
