Reinforced Stone Spike
Enemy players and
zombies that touch the spike take damage and
are pushed away. Compared with a
Stone Spike, this tier has more health and
damage per hit, with a placement cost that also requires gold.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”The spike repeatedly damages nearby enemy players, zombies and structures. It ignores
the
Landmine and the
Reaper. Entering its reach does not
guarantee an immediate hit.
Your spikes do not damage you or members of your group. They also spare
structures owned by you or your group, except
TNT.
Players with
Spawn protection take no damage or knockback from spikes. An
equipped shield touching the spike reduces knockback without reducing damage.
All spike tiers share your building limit. Your spikes stay placed and keep counting after death and respawn. Destroying a spike frees its place; leaving the server removes your spikes.
Comparison
Section titled “Comparison”| Measure | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Placement cost | |||
| Destroy reward | |||
| Health | 120 | 200 | 300 |
| Base player damage per hit | 3 | 5 | 8 |
| Base zombie damage per hit | 3 | 5 | 8 |
| Base structure damage per hit | 3 | 5 | 8 |
| Attacks per second | 2 | 2 | 2 |
The listed destroy rewards apply when you finish another player’s spike with melee. Projectile finishes pay 50 % of those resources and experience. Destroying your own spike gives no reward.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”Choose this upgrade after Stone Spike at level 10 or above in the spike branch of the structure trees. It spends 1 structure point from your upgrade points and replaces Stone Spike. Spikes already placed keep their tier and health; the upgrade changes future placements.
