Basic Axe
Replacing the
Stick starts the axe line, with a bonus
swing that works on resources and enemy structures as well as enemies.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”Every 3 swings, the axe deals 2 times its usual damage. Misses advance this count. Switching away and back preserves your place in the sequence; upgrading to another axe starts a new sequence.
An ordinary tree hit gives
16.7 wood; a bonus hit
gives
33.3 wood. Stones and gold mines
pay stone or gold directly into your wallet. A nearly depleted resource gives less on its
final hit.

Base damage per hit against players.
The next upgrade, the
Axe, raises ordinary damage to enemy
structures from 13.33 to 20 per hit. It keeps the same
attack rate and reach.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”Spend the weapon point earned at level 2 in the
weapon tree to replace the Stick without paying resources.
The choice closes the other weapon lines for that life. Later
upgrade points advance to Axe at level
7 and
Great Axe at level 9; you cannot
skip the intervening upgrade.
From the start of the sequence, make 2 empty swings to prepare a bonus before approaching a target. Keep track of misses because they also advance the sequence.
