Axe
Replacing the
Basic Axe increases base damage against players, zombies, structures and
resources while keeping the same attack rate and movement speed.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”Missed swings still advance the special attack. Switching items preserves your progress toward the next bonus; upgrading starts the new axe’s count.
When you unlock this axe, 2 empty swings prepare its first bonus attack. Finish each swing before changing items, because switching during the windup cancels the pending hit.
Comparison
Section titled “Comparison”| Weapon | Players | Zombies | Structures | Resources |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.33 | 6.67 | 13.33 | 13.33 | |
| 6.67 | 13.33 | 20 | 20 | |
| 13.33 | 20 | 26.67 | 26.67 |
These tiers share their attack rate, movement speed and special attack.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”The weapon point earned at level 7 lets you replace the Basic Axe through the weapon tree, without a resource payment. Your earlier axe choice keeps the other weapon lines closed for this life.
At level 9, you can spend the next weapon point on
Great Axe.
You must choose Axe before that upgrade becomes available.
