Wooden Turret
Automatically fired arrows defend a position while you use another item. Firing does not consume resources or ammunition.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”The turret attacks nearby enemy players,
zombies and
the
Reaper. It ignores you, members of your
group and players with
Spawn protection. Small
changes in distance do not make it switch targets.
Arrows aim at the target’s position when fired, without leading its movement. They pass through
allied players, allied structures and
Landmines. Enemy
walls stop arrows without taking damage.
All turret tiers share a placement limit. Destroying a turret frees a place. Your turrets keep firing after death and still count toward the limit after respawning. Leaving the server removes them.
A newly placed turret waits 3 seconds before looking for its first target, so place it before enemies reach the base.
You receive the listed destroy reward only while alive and for turrets you do not own. A projectile final hit gives 50% of the listed resources and experience.
Comparison
Section titled “Comparison”| Measure | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Placement cost | |||
| Health | 60 | 120 | 180 |
| Base player damage per arrow | 8 | 10 | 12 |
| Base zombie damage per arrow | 8 | 10 | 12 |
| Arrows per second | 2 | 2.5 | 2.75 |
| Minimum level | 4 | 6 | 10 |
The Stone Turret has more health, stronger arrows and a higher fire rate, but adds a stone cost. The Reinforced Stone Turret improves those stats again and adds gold to its placement cost.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”Spend 1 structure point at level 4 or above in the turret branch of the structure trees. This adds the build item to your hotbar; resources are charged when you place a turret.
Upgrading to
Stone Turret replaces the build item. Future placements use the
upgraded tier and cost, while turrets already placed keep their original stats. Upgrading does
not raise your placement limit.
