Basic Bow
Choosing this ranged weapon adds it to your inventory alongside your melee weapon. Its arrows use only wood.
Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”Hold Use item (left mouse button by default) or enable Auto attack (E by default) to keep firing. Each arrow spends its cost before launch, including misses. If you lack wood, the shot does not fire, but the firing cooldown still starts. Switching items and returning to the bow preserves its firing cooldown.
Enemy walls stop arrows. Trees and stones also stop them without yielding resources. Allied players and allied walls do not intercept your shots. Gifts stop arrows without opening.
Finish a zombie or enemy structure with an arrow before you die to receive 50 % of its normal rewards. Earlier melee damage does not change this reduction. See death and respawn for player-kill rewards.

Base damage per hit against players.
Bow fires faster and deals more damage per arrow, but each shot also needs
stone.
Great Bow raises the damage and ammunition cost again while keeping Bow’s
fire rate.
Unlocking
Section titled “Unlocking”Spend the secondary point earned at level 5 in the secondary tree. Acquiring the bow costs no resources and keeps your melee weapon. Its listed cost is paid when firing.
This choice closes the
Basic Shield branch for this life. Later secondary
upgrade points unlock Bow from level
11 and Great Bow from level 14. Upgrade through each bow
in order.
